Narisara Jirojananukun is a Thai printmaker, photographer, and illustrator born in Thailand in 1992. She studied at Central Saint Martins before completing an MA in Illustration at Camberwell College of Arts, University of the Arts London. Her practice bridges storytelling, photography, and printmaking, exploring moments of human connection within everyday and transient spaces often described as ‘non-places’, the anonymous environments of modern life. Through careful observation, she seeks out subtle gestures of touch, care, and shared presence within these otherwise impersonal surroundings.
Working across etching and photo-based processes, Jirojananukun examines the intersection of photography and printmaking to create tactile visual narratives rooted in human experience. Drawing inspiration from small, intimate encounters in public life, her works remain simple, accessible, and quietly uplifting. By translating observational photography into print, she preserves fleeting gestures and reveals subtle connections within spaces often perceived as anonymous. Through the tactile process of printmaking and hand-drawn mark-making, she slows down these passing moments, inviting viewers to reflect on warmth, human presence, and quiet feelings of connection within temporary environments.
